The Quirimbas walk is an unforgettable experience for all kind of public. Accompanied by a local guide, you will cross walk the sea at low tide to the neighborhood island. It is a spectacular journey through the mangroves. Crossing the Quirimba's Channel you will reach Quirimba Island, where you can enjoy a brief tour of the island until the high tide brings the sea back and allows you, powered by the wind, to return on a dhow to Ibo Island. | Although Matemo Island does not offer many vestige of the Colonial Portuguese Architecture, it is undoubtedly a true paradise: characterized by its turquoise waters and its golden beaches, is the ideal place to relax lying under under a palm tree, and refreshing of its coconut milk. It also offers a nice walk on the east coast of the island, taking you through the small villages. |
